JB: Jim - what are some trends that you're seeing from our clients in this environment as they are trying to keep the commitments to their patients?

Jim: Since this is such an uncharted territory we are seeing clients all over the board but the one trend that is emerging the strongest is migration to telehealth.

A number of our clients are currently using our telehealth services with varying success mainly dictated by how quickly and aggressively they adopted from the beginning.

Those who adopted it quickly and put their weight behind it are seeing great success while others are still struggling.

JB: That's an interesting insight. I'm sure our readers would be interested in some real data behind it.

JB: Is there anything, in terms of hard data, that you can share with us?

Jim: One of the most successful examples is one of our clients who is seeing 80% of their telehealth appointments being attended and they already realized $160,000 of revenue in the last 4 weeks since we've been on the shelter at home orders.

They are also seeing that 75% of their patients attend the follow-up appointments.

JB: What do you attribute to their success?

Jim: Instead of cutting their marketing spend they took this opportunity to invest in their practice and let them know they are here for their patients.

JB: What are some of the clients' results for the not so successful clients.

Jim: We had one client who was slow in adapting to telehealth and thought that it might be better to remain mostly closed during this time and significantly cut marketing initially.

They are seeing only 50% of their appointments being attended and even though it's a similar size practice to the previously mentioned client they only realized only $28,000 in revenue in the same time-frame.

JB: That's a staggering difference. What's your advice for medical practices during this time?

Jim: There are unique opportunities to succeed out there.   You need to keep marketing spends positive and just make sure that your are relentless in performance analysis and almost real-time in making adjustments.

Invest in your practice and make sure you come out stronger on the other side. 

JB: How can we help our clients or potential clients who would like to join us? Outside of the obvious of providing telehealth services.

Jim: We can first and foremost get patients to them now through telehealth and then into their practice as we are starting to open up.
